"We consider ourselves a partner with our customers in keeping their trucks on the road," says Truckstar's founder, Greg DeWall. "Our success is linked to their success. If we can get their trucks on the road with little downtime, that's a win-win. These vehicles are income-producers for our customers, and we respect that."

Celebrating More Than 20 Years of Service

Serving the heavy-duty trucking industry since 1998, Truckstar Collision Center has become a well-established member of the trucking community, serving southern Wisconsin, including Dane and many surrounding counties. A lifetime of experience in the collision industry, combined with skilled and dedicated personnel, allowed founder Greg DeWall to provide an unmatched level of expertise to repairing trucks. That same attention to detail and quality continues today with Truckstar President Stephanie Schwartz, Production Manager Chuck Ja Doul, Estimator Frank Roubal, and all the talented technicians on staff.

No job is too big for the 18,000 square foot body shop. Equipped with a 50 foot paint booth and drive-on frame and alignment racks, Truckstar provides full-service collision and paint repair for all types of heavy-duty trucks, buses, construction equipment, and recreational vehicles. Truckstar can do the complete repair in-house, allowing for improved communication between vehicle owners/managers, insurance adjusters, and those doing the repairs. This helps reduce overall downtime for customers.

The Whole Is Greater Than the Sum of Its Parts

Backed by 30 years of experience in collision repair, Greg saw the demand for a shop equipped to serve the trucking industry. With the help of family and friends, he transformed the former machine shop into the heavy-duty body shop it is today. Greg personally designed and built the custom 50 foot cross-draft paint booth, installed overhead doors, and dug the pits to accommodate the drive-on frame and alignment racks. Greg’s commitment to customer service and high quality workmanship helped the company grow and thrive. Since opening in 1998, Truckstar has grown to employ a team of 16. The shop serves over 200 customers and more than 600 customer vehicles each year.

Truckstar’s unwavering dedication to quality would not be possible without the commitment and pride that comes from each member of the Truckstar team. Truckstar offers excellent benefits, competitive wages, and a safe, healthy, and enjoyable work environment. These incentives help inspire Truckstar’s employees to do their very best work and take pride in the jobs they complete. There’s nothing like seeing a customer drive away with their vehicle looking refreshed with new paint, or just back to pre-accident condition.

Truckstar is a proud member of the Truck Frame & Axle Association (TARA), a community of businesses dedicated to heavy-duty truck frame and axle repair. Equally proud members of the Wisconsin Better Business Bureau (BBB) and Wisconsin Towing Association (WTA), Truckstar continually strives for excellence in customer service and operates using the highest ethical standards in all aspects of business.

“We realize that we wouldn’t be here if it weren’t for the loyalty of our customers,” Greg goes on to say, “And we appreciate that. Over the years, we’ve made it our business to meet the individual needs of each customer, and to do it with the best of our ability. We'd like to thank our customers for their continued business.”
